As far as I can tell, he was being manipulated in the city's usual fashion. Though his aggression seemed targeted at anyone who came after us.

Once I stopped trying to escape, and we were left alone, he calmed significantly.

It's alright. It wasn't pleasant by any means, but no one was seriously hurt. That's an improvement over the last time I wound up on the network.

But living there is not always easy. He would know as well as I.

At times. We did not often approve of one another's philosophies or methods.

If you're familiar with him at all, I'm sure you understand why that is.

I'm sure he's equally unhappy with how this all turned out, in truth.

But he rarely does so, even under the best of conditions. As frustrating as that can be, I do understand why.

Well if he doesn't want to talk then he can stop expecting it of everyone else all the time.

In fairness, it's not the first time I've been kidnapped by a dragon.

The latter...you become accustomed to it. There are ways he says things, without saying them.

[ Careful. He has to try and toe the line, not say anything that isn't his to disclose. He settles on common knowledge, instead. ]

Most black dragons on Azeroth are less prone to befriending mortals than they are manipulating them, or murdering them en masse. Sometimes just for sport.

Wrathion's always been markedly different from his kin. Not that it made him any easier to trust, at first.
