Very good.

[ And with a smile, the treats are provided as reward. Anduin glances back up at Persephone, eyes bright. ]

I think we'll manage just fine.

[ragingnature]

[ Cerberus immediately gobbles up the treats with a few growls as one head encrouches on another's treat. ]

As long as you stick to the Up there shouldn't be any problems with walking him. He gets a bit more aggressive in the Down. I think he can tell how much dangerous it is there.

He has a harness and leash for walking, though we usually don't use it. And, um, since it's raining I got him this raincoat.

[ As she speaks she moves over to the door where everything is hanging on the wall. As she pulls the raincoat off of the wall, to show to Anduin, Cerberus takes one look at it and wanders off to his bed in the corner of the living room to sulk. ] See?

[ That's adorable, and he tries hard not to laugh as Cerberus wanders away in obvious distress. ]

I take it he's not a fan.

[ A pause. ]

It is a singular 'he', then?

[ The heads do seem to have a mind of their own, each. ]

[ragingnature]

[ Cerberus returns to a singular head as he squeaks his bumblebee plush. ]

I think it's the plastic. He seems fine with sweaters and other dog clothes. [ Sometimes he gets fussy so she got him a shirt to wear that helps calm him down. ]

That's how Hades always refers to him. [ It's clear that Cerberus is still listening to them because the moment Hades' name comes up he looks around before lowering his head again. ] And he's had him since he was a tiny puppy.

[massrez]

[ Very unusual indeed. But not so very different in demeanor from any other hound. Anduin's brow furrows in sympathy. ]

I can't imagine it feels or smells very good to him. But hopefully being outside and stretching his legs will make up for it.

[ragingnature]

Hopefully. I do wish this rain would let up, though.

[ It never rained this much back home. ]

I remember wishing for rain, when I fist arrived. It was the midst of a heat wave. But nothing comes here in moderation, it seems.

[ragingnature]

It would seem so. Even the snow was a ridiculous amount. [ She hated that the most as she doesn't do well with the cold. ]

[massrez]

I remember it well.

But this, like everything else, will eventually pass.

[ragingnature]

The sooner the better, though. [ She's fallen victim to the rain's effects thanks to losing her umbrella. That on top of the injuries she has sustained had not been a fun time. ]

Anywho, we usually walk from here to the park. I let him run around a bit before we come back. But he also often goes out with me when I go shopping or to work.

[massrez]

I'll see how far he's willing to go. I think he'll let me know when he's tired and ready to go home again.

[ As he tilts his head back to look at Cerberus. ]

Won't you, boy?

[ragingnature]

I think it's less about being tired and just the rain in general. [ Cerberus can be quite the fussy pup. Though he does look over at Anduin when addressed. ]

[massrez]

[ When the pup lifts his head, Anduin beckons, reaching for another treat. ]

Well let's see if we can talk him into putting his coat on.

[ragingnature]

[ He's over in almost a flash when he sees Anduin reaching for more treats. He does hear talk of the coat but the treats are far more important here. ]

I'm sure we can if he wants to go out. [ His ears certainly perk up with those words, though he's much more focused on what Anduin is doing. ]

[massrez]

What do you think? Do you want to go out?

[ He wants treats, clearly. But Anduin withholds them for a moment, lifting his hand in a gesture for 'sit'.

Good behavior gets rewards. It's important to set a standard. ]

[ragingnature]

[ Cerberus seems familiar enough with the gesture and sits with his tail thumping eagerly against the floor. ]

[massrez]

[ He promptly gets another treat, before reaching for the little doggy coat. ]

We shouldn't be too terribly long.

[ragingnature]

[ Cerberus inhales the treat before looking up for another. He sees the coat and lets out a soft whine, though he doesn't go anywhere. ]

It's just for a little while, buddy. [ Persephone says as she reaches down to scratch behind his ears. He'll let the coat be put on after that, though his body language suggests he's not happy with it. ]

Let me know when you're on your way back. [ That way she can have his dinner ready for him. ]
