[ He'll find no judgement here. He's learned well from Gilia, the matter of hearts and sharing them. If Anders has found his happiness in two people? Then he's happy he has two people who care so very deeply for him. ]
You two look very happy. I'm a bit envious.
[ His own apartment suite will be empty for some time yet, before the others return. ]
A very understandable feeling when it comes to my Lord Alaric Morgan.
[A pause and he smiles to himself as he follows up-]
If you've ever cause, don't tell him I called him that.
Truthfully, I am hopelessly, unfathomably, and unfairly lucky. I've done nothing to deserve even one of them, much less both. They're both stubborn and amazing men who keep light and direction in my life.
[Sorry, Anduin, hopefully you don't mind a bit of hopeless romanticism.]
In all seriousness, I'm not certain why you would feel envious, surely there's some here who have caught your attention. You're attractive, kind, and earnest. That's a perfectly dangerous combination for winning hearts.
[ Mind? Never. He's a romantic to his core, and seeing such obvious love and devotion warms his heart. He's glad Anders has this for himself. He certainly deserves such, even if he doesn't believe it so. ]
I think it is the peace I am envious of.
[ His affairs remain somewhat...tumultuous. Though that is largely one party's fault in particular, if one were assigning blame. Which he is choosing not to. ]
[There's certainly sympathy for that. He...is at peace. More than he ever thought possible. More than he ever deserved or will deserve. This house, with the three of them, was a sanctuary against the things that took pieces of them all each day. It offered refuge and healing and, yes, peace. At least he hoped it did. It did for him and it was all he wanted for the men who kept light in the darkness that threatened to swallow him.]
I firmly and completely believe you can find that peace as well, Anduin. Perhaps in another, multiple others, or perhaps in something else entirely, you need only be willing to let yourself. If you can put everything down, even for only for one selfish minute, then you might find it's not so hard to fall into.
[It's hard to argue with that, he still had a hard time putting things down himself, even when there was nothing else he could or should be doing, there still lingered that feeling he ought to do more.]
The simple solution to that one: find yourself people too stubborn to take 'no I'm too busy' as an answer and too arrogant to think thy might be wrong to stop you in the first place.
They'll drive you mad, but they'll be worth it. Besides, sometimes I think we might be half way there anyway.

[ Anders is the same way, working himself to the bone because doing anything less isn't acceptable.
Still. If even he was able to, maybe there's hope yet. ]

Like attracts like, I hear.

For now, it was getting late and he would be a poor boss to keep his Head Healer up with silly idle conversation.]
Then I'm certain you'll find your peace.
I'll see you tomorrow, Anduin. Good night.
