I just assumed that you wouldn't necessarily be sending something like that to me. 'Round two' made it seem as if there had been a 'round one'. Unless I'm forgetting something rather important.

Which in this city is entirely possible, I suppose.

If it at any point seemed as though I wouldn't be interested, it was a desire on my part not to overstep any boundaries you might not have wished crossed.

Not that I think you would hesitate to voice your displeasure if I did something of the sort, of course. But it wasn't lack of desire for more than friendship shared. Far from it.

[ it's charming, really. enough to bring a lopsided smile to rey's face. chivalry is lost on her, of course, and it's actually endearing that anduin would attempt it regardless. it can be nice to be treated as though she weren't a feral desert animal.

but she is one. and it shows in the way that she endeavors to get some more direct statement of wanting out of him. ]

I've deleted that picture. It wasn't meant for me. And while I'd say you'd be welcome to send one that was...considering how often my device gets away from me, I'm not sure how wise that is.

Even so, there are some things I prefer to keep private.

That's a shame. I rather like when things aren't private.

[ at least, when it's in her control to decide as much. she's trying not to think about the unpleasant loss of autonomy represented by those citations. ]

And there's nothing wrong with that.

I've tried. I don't think I'll ever find ease with it as some do.

Yeah.

That's what I like. Being able to care for someone, to make them happy.

It's not that I can't try something new, or won't. Light knows there's been enough of that already in my time here, and some of it has been enjoyable enough. But I know what I've come to prefer.

And I'd be willing to try what you have in mind. That seems only fair.
